When does the server wipe?
Map wipes are Monday and Friday at 17:00 UK. Force wipe is the first Thursday of the month, when Facepunch updates the game. Blueprints are all unlocked from the start, so there is nothing to relearn. Each server page has a live countdown and a calendar you can subscribe to.
When can I claim kits?
Paid kits can be claimed from 2 hours into a wipe, then once every 12 hours. Playtime kits from 45 minutes in.
How do I contact support?
Open a ticket in our Discord. DMs to staff are not tracked and get missed.
What counts as linked?
Steam and Discord both connected to the same profile, and you are in the SolarRustServers Steam group. Linked players can open tickets, claim the free /kit Linked and vote on maps.
Do you see my Steam or Discord password?
No. Sign in goes through Steam OpenID and Discord OAuth2. We only get your public ID, name and avatar.
Can I change the account I linked?
Yes. Unlink it on the link page and connect another. If a purchase went to the wrong Steam ID, open a ticket and we will move it.
Can I build straight in Metal or Armoured?
Yes, with /bgrade. /bgrade 3 for Metal and /bgrade 4 for Armoured, /bgrade 0 to turn it off. Metal needs a paid kit or 100 hours, Armoured needs a paid kit or 250 hours. You still pay the full cost.
How do I trade safely?
Type /trade followed by their name. Once they accept, you both get a box and nothing moves until both of you confirm. It works at any distance. Blocked while combat or raid blocked.
Can I buy a kit for someone else?
Yes. Pick Gift in the cart and paste their Steam 64 ID. They need to have joined the server once.
Do kits work on every server?
Kits belong to one server. When there is more than one server, you pick which in the cart.
Can I get a refund?
Purchases are non-refundable once delivered, but your statutory rights are not affected. Payments and refunds are handled by PayNow, which sells our kits, so contact them using the details on your PayNow receipt. If a kit never arrives or does not work in game, open a ticket and we will fix it. Full details are in the Terms.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Sign in and open your profile, then press Cancel next to the subscription. You keep the kit until the end of the period you paid for. Paid on another Steam account? Use the PayNow billing portal with the email you paid with.
How often do stats update?
Every three minutes. The delay is on purpose so nobody can scout a live fight from the leaderboard.
Can I put my own pictures on signs?
Yes, from Veteran (100 hours played) or with any paid kit. Look at a sign or picture frame and type /sil followed by an image link, or /silt followed by your text. Every upload is logged, and anything inappropriate is removed.
How do I report a cheater?
Open a ticket with their Steam profile, the server and roughly when it happened. Reports are anonymous.
